Google nest mini stopped working and is dead

Good morning, 

my google nest mini has just stopped working completely. I have don’t all the attempts to reset, reboot, factory reset but nothing. Lights don’t even come on for anything.

I don’t have the receipt for where I bought it and I have no clue how long ago I bought it.

Do you have another nest mini in the house? Try swapping the plugs and see if the fault is with the speaker or the plug. The plugs have transformers in them as the speakers are low voltage. transformers can fail

That certainly isn’t the experience we want you to have with your Nest Mini — have you tried the steps provided by Biggsyboi? If so, how was it? To isolate further, when you did the reset, was it the same steps as what you see in this link? When and where did you buy your Nest Mini?

Here are additional steps to try:

1. Unplug the power adapter from the outlet and the speaker or display.
2. Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.
3. Plug the power adapter into the speaker or display.
4. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that works.
5. Check if any LED lights would appear on the back of the speaker or display.
