Google nest mini wont play spotify or connect to spotify

I got my google nest mini a few years ago. It's been great until recently. When I play spotify, normally I can click the speakers option and choose my nest. It connects and starts playing. I could also just ask it to play spotify. Now it will not connect at all. I've tried restarting my nest and my phone, ive unlinked and relinked the device. I disconnected spotify as the default music option and tried readding it. It readded fine but wouldn't work still. I tried unadding it and rechoosing spotify. Now it won't even do that. Please help! This is so frustrating and upsetting.

To isolate the root cause of this inconvenience, I have some questions for you:

  • Did you see any error message when you tried to play Spotify content?
  • Is your Google Home app updated? Please check out the following link for your reference: Update the Google Home app
  • Is your mobile device or tablet connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Google Nest Mini?

Sorry to jump in because there is no update for this case, while I face exactly the same problem with Maddy.
To answer Juan questions:

  • Did you see any error message when you tried to play Spotify content?
    No error message appear when I tried to play Spotify connect. But when I tried to cast to google nest mini speaker, the status is "Connecting..." and never change. It never cast the audio to google nest mini anymore. If I tried to cast it to my android TV, it works smoothly as usual.
  • Is your Google Home app updated? Please check out the following link for your reference: Update the Google Home app
    I'm using the latest version of Google Home app version 3.35.55.0
  • Is your mobile device or tablet connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Google Nest Mini?
    Yes off course they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. They are working fine for years before. The problem just happened I think after upgrading my Android to version 15
