Google nest still stuck on G screen since May

My nest is still stuck on the G screen

Originally posted in May and was told there would be an update that would fix it (enclosed screen shots and reply) 

Google said if it didn’t work to reply to their post which myself and numerous other people did but got no reply… went on there now and the thread is closed but yet still no resolution?

does anyone have an answer did they manage to get it sorted after the automatic update ?
