Nest Mini removes itselve from "Home". In the event log it says i've removed it, but i didn't. This happens 1-2 a day, realy anoying.
If i try to set it up again it failes at the end of the setup and i have to cancel, but nevertheless it's in my "home " again abfter failed setup. In this state i can't do andy configuration to the nest mini, because it's not saving my config. And for shure i've done a reset of the nest mini (many times). I also set up my whole "home" including Google Home App, completley new.
Everything in the same wifi (5 GHz).
Nothing helps.
Thanks for your help.

Hey there,
Sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with your device, I understand it is probably frustrating, but I'm happy to help.
I would suggest reviewing this article as it has the walkthrough of how to factory reset your device. I would also suggest unlinking and relinking your device to the home app as well.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Hi there,
Sorry to hear that you're still having an issue with this. The best way to fix this is to make sure there are no active updates that need to be done on the device and Home app as well as doing a factory reset on the device as that will fix the issue.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Hello,
How do I know if there are active updates for the device? My Google home app is updated.

Hi there,
The Google Play store or Apple app store would tell you if it needed to be updated. I would suggest doing a factory reset on the device as suggested previously as well.
Best regards,

Hi,
I did so many factory resets i can't even count them anymore.
The setup process fails after every reset. I also tryed another device to setup the nest mini. I uninstalled the home app....
From the Google assistant settings it tells me there is no communication possible, when I want do some settings. But i can stream music and talk to the mini.

Hey there,
Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this and that it fails after every reset still. Have you double checked the network connection as well? Other users have had success when changing their network from the 2.4 band to their 5 band and vice versa.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

I did the setup in each network (2.4 and 5 GHz). I disabled the 2.4 GHz network and did the setup with 5ghz and vice versa. But no luck.
It seems the Home app can't access the device. When I add the Mini to my home I can't change the equalizer settings for example. But when it's kicked out of my home and is listet under "other devices" ore some I can change the equalizer settings.

Hey there,
Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this. I still want to go through more troubleshooting steps with you, but in the meantime, I would suggest sending feedback to our engineering team through this link so that they can investigate this.
Would you also mind double checking your network and router or modem to make sure that the connection is strong and that there are no issues happening that way as well?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Garrett DS
