Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Google speaker device not being able to connect to WiFi. I understand your concern and would be more than happy to help. First, I have some questions.

  • Which Google speaker device is this post in regard to? (model name, generation number)
  • Are you trying to set up your device for the first time?
  • Is your device powering on?
  • Is your device showing up in the Google Home App?
  • What kind of WiFi are you trying to connect to? A one step password only WiFi or a two step WiFi?
  • Have you tried connecting your device to a mobile hotspot instead? What happens?
  • Have you taken any troubleshooting steps? If so, what have you tried?
