This feature has been in request for a very long time now and is very simple to implement, yet it hasn't been added. Alexa has it for years now and Google doesn't. Is there a reason for it?
The request is very simple: change the rate at which the assistant speaks. And I'm not talking about changing the assistant voice, which has been the reply for years now to mute this issue.
Why is it that google find this very hard to implement?

Hi Abe1,
There isn't a setting for this but you can ask the Google Assistant "Can you repeat that slower" after any response you didn't hear correctly.
As this is a community forum supported by other users and community specialist's we don't know why Google haven't implemented a setting for this or if they have plans to do so, sorry.
Please leave feedback for the Google Nest team requesting that this is added.

Feature already requested, but I didn't find a way to see the request updates.
