Hi. I have 4 1st gen Mini's. For awhile now one of them keeps announcing mic on, mic off. I have toggled the switch, rebooted the device, used different outlets....does not help. Any way to fix it? or do I just toss it? And, additionally, is there a way to group my mini's...each one responds individually. All are connected to my Google Home app on my iPhone and iPad.
Thanks to anyone who can solve the mic issue.....and for info about how to group the existing other 3 mini's.

What do you mean by grouping your Nest Minis? Don't you want Google Assistant to respond from the Nest Mini closest to you? Or do you really want a response from all four of your Nest Minis?
I don't have any suggestions for your malfunctioning Nest Mini.

I don’t have a nest. I only have (now) 3 working Mini’s in 3 different rooms. Each one works separately. I just wondered if they could work together, I.e. music playing on one could play on the others at the same time. (And any idea about how to get my other mini to work without the rep acted speaker on/speaker off reply. I finally unplugged it.). Thank you.

I was using the term "Nest Mini" to refer generically to "Google Homes", "Google Nest Minis", and "Google Home Minis".
We haven't grouped ours together, but this is the Help topic on the subject:

There are many posts in this forum regarding issues with grouping speakers.
You could try a "factory reset" of your malfunctioning mini:
