Last night my Nest Hub Max (all by itself) started to display a white strip, about an inch high, at the bottom. It displays "Show Front Door". I do have a nest door bell cam. I am able to swipe it off, but it comes right back. How do I get rid of this annoying white strip? Thanks.

We haven't encountered this, but we've cured other anomalies by rebooting our Nest Hub Max, either by unplugging it for a minute or going to it in the Google Home app and selecting Settings | More | Reboot.

Yeah, that was the first thing I did...it came back after reboot...but thanks.

That's odd behavior for a Nest Hub Max.
Maybe if you're lucky, a Google Nest Community Specialist will reply here.
If not, you could try contacting Support to see if this is a known issue or if they have a solution, so that you don't have to resort to the nuisance and potential problems of removing your Nest Hub Max's camera from the Google Nest app and the Nest Hub Max from the Google Home app, doing a factory reset, and then reinstalling both.
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Weird situation! During the early evening, I asked Google to "Show me the front door". It showed me the Nest door bell cam (no white strip). I then asked google to "Show me the driveway"...it did show the Nest floodlight cam.....and the white strip had disappeared, and is still gone this morning. No idea what happened. Thanks for the replies.

I'm glad it resolved itself. Sometimes Google Nest's software is flukey. Yesterday I couldn't access our Nest Hub Max's settings from my iPhone, but I could from my iPad. Later in the day it resolved itself.
