Home keeps breaking

I have a google router. I have 2 google nest wifi speakers. I have google webpass internet. I live solo in a small studio. There is no fracking reason this network should continually break. I run a mesh test and it says connection excellent. But I try to create speaker group and either it can’t recognize one speaker (so I unplugged and restarted network, same result) or it gives error:

The operation couldn't be completed. (com.google.CastFramework.SetupLib.C

astSetupError error O.)

I have searched forums and it’s just full of frustrated users with same issues.

Also in pairing mode, does not recognize bluetooth turntable sitting two feet from it.

Nothing worrrrrrks. Waste of money, waste of time, and impossible to get an actual person to troubleshoot. I hate Google so much.

Hello yr_stuff_stinks,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for this experience.

Please make sure that your Google Home app is updated to the latest version. You may also try to uninstall and reinstall the app to see if that helps.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,
Lovely

is Version 3.0.111

I have deleted the home, deleted Home app, factory reset all devices, and it’s still a pile of junk. Instead of Google building stuff that works, you are forcing users to be unpaid troubleshooters for your super jenky products.

And now this reply is failing to load due to “Authentication Ticket Mismatched”

I mean, kudos, that’s best in class trolling right there.

Hi there yr_stuff_stinks,

Thanks for the detailed information and we'll take your words as feedback. Please share a screenshot of the message that you are getting and the model of phone that you're using. You might also try using another phone to access the Google Home app and check if the issue remains the same.

Kind regards,
Lovely

Thanks,

Oh how sweet it is for you to pretend that this forum is not littered with years of similar comments that Google has not addressed and has no intention of addressing.

PS my nest speakers, having worked together for about 5 minutes, now respond by 1 speaker performing the request (turn off lights) followed by the other one pausing for 20 seconds and then saying “oops there seems to be a problem. try again in a few seconds.” Complete rubbish.
