How do I connect Hey Goole to wifi without Google Home

I don't know if I selected the correct options.   I have a "Hey Google" speaker (Don't know real name. It and the setup were a gift from kids).  My wifi recently changed and now she won't connect.  I need instructions to do it without Google Home.  I am 70 yrs old and don't know alot about this stuff so need "Fix it for Dummies", lol!

Unfortunately, Google Nest does not make it easy to change Wi-Fi networks for its devices.

First, you will need to perform a "factory reset" on your Google Nest speaker. See this Help topic for instructions on how to do this for various models:

Once you have done that successfully, you will need to reinstall your Google speaker in the Google Home app. (Sorry, you cannot do this without using the Google Home app.) See this Help topic for setup instructions:
