How do I connect a Google mini?

We have moved and have a different wifi system.  We only have Google Pixel phones, and Google home says there are more steps to setting up the mini but want me to use a non Google device. So what do I do now?

To make sure, what's the exact message you're getting when you try setting up your Google Home Mini? If you don't have another mobile phone, try asking your family member or friend to set up your device. Once set up, you can go back to using your Pixel phone.
