How do I disable voice feedback on google home/nest?

Hi, I think we all know what I am talking about.

I switched back to the competitor because they make it SO EASY to change the voice feedback after a request into a soft beep.

Why is this taking so long? It has got to be such a HUGE topic in your work, Google.

Please help us out or people will keep getting frustrated, switching to other assistants or won't even buy this product.

Google Nest rarely accepts products feedback in this forum. They want us to use their "Feedback" mechanism, and they do NOT promise any response:

I don't know what they do with "feedback". Unfortunately, it's the only option they provide. And there's no roadmap for what features will be in future releases.
