How do I restrict my child’s ability to turn a TV on using Google Nest Mini?

My kids have a screen time limit of TV per day. The way we have been able to enforce this is by removing the TV remotes. We just got a new google nest mini, and it’s linked to our TV, and now I’m concerned my kids will just be able to say “ok google turn the tv on.” Is there a way to restrict this so they can’t (but we can)? Or do I just have to remove the TV from my google home to restrict access to it?

Hi Rench,

There isn't any way to limit what commands can be used, sorry. Removing the link between the TV and Google assistant is the only way to stop this being an option.
