How to automatically switch ON/OFF Nest Hub 2 screen

Hi,

I'm using the Nest Hub 2 as a clock during the night and as an alarm clock only.

So, I would like to automatically switch ON/OFF Nest Hub 2 screen (eg: ON between 11pm and 8 am and OFF between 8am and 11 pm) . Is there such a way?

Currently, I have to use the google Home apps every morning and evening.

There's no schedule for turning the display off, but it can when there is low light or after 5 minutes of inactivity.

In the Google Home app select the device on Devices page, Settings⚙ and then Display.

Hi yaneko,

Thanks for your post! I understand you'd like to enable screen timeout on your Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen). Here are the steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. Select "Settings" > "Display" > "Turn on Screen Timeout"

Let me know if this works! Feel free to reply if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Jenny
