Your Nest Mini and your doorbell need to be in the same Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Google Account.

Go to your doorbell in the Google Home app and turn on "Visitor announcements" (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451).

Damianp170, like what has been mentioned above, your Google Nest Mini and doorbell should be set up in the same account and Home structure in the Google Home app. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.
