Is there a way to fully randomise photos showing on google Home displays instead of tending towards throwback photos (I.e. 2 years ago on this date this is what you were doing)
I use my displays primarily as digital photo frames and my problem is, for example if I go on holidays every August I'm sure my photo frames are showing lots of cool photos from my previous trips during August, but I'm not there to see it as I'm on another holiday!
Conversely, I've never had a big trip in November so in November I see the same photo of my front room multiple times a day despite having over 16,000 photos on my Google account to choose from!
Obviously not a major concern but I'd really love it if I could have full randomisation so I can see the cool holidays photos throughout the year!

Hi ACookie,
Thanks for posting in the community!
Of course it is an option to full randomize the picture you see on your Google Home Display.
Let me know if there are more questions for me.
Best regards,
Nery.

Hi,
Thank you, but I don't think this quite answers my question. I have been using Google photos for a number of years now in exactly the way you have suggested and I have noticed:
- I took a trip to China in April 2012. Since I started using Google Nest Hubs as my photoframe I see a disproportionate amount of photos from that trip every April, but very little from that trip in subsequent months I.e. this happened for the 3rd year in a row last April
- similarly lots of my wedding photos show up on and around our anniversary but very rarely throughout the rest of the year
I want my photos to be fully randomised so any of my 16,000+ photos have an equal chance of appearing at any time of the year

Hi ACookie,
Thanks for your prompt response!
Thanks for clarifying! To provide you with the best options for a fully randomized photo display, I have a couple of questions:
Knowing this information will allow me to provide you the correct steps to solve this.

Hi, all photos are currently merged in one large album

Hi ACookie.
I appreciate this information!
Since your photos are merged into just one album, it seems the situation is about the album.
My best advice for you at this moment is to create a new album and add the photos again, so you'll be able to see the photos randomly all the time.
Keep me posted about how it goes.
Best regards,
Nery.
