How to get Google connect to WiFi?

I unplugged Google and the Router, but it’s not working whatever I plugged Google or the router and she won’t turn the lights off.

Thank you for reaching out. I understand your concern of your Google device not being able to connect to WiFi, that is a very important issue to address! I would be more than happy to help find a solution with you. First, I have some questions:
  • Which nest device is this post in regard to? (model name, generation number)
  • Is this the first time you are setting up the device?
  • Is this a new issue? Was your device connected to WiFi before?
  • Is your device powering on?
  • Is your device showing up in the Google Home App?
  • Are you receiving any error messages? What does it say? 
  • Have you tried to conduct a reboot or a Factory Data Reset on the device?
