How to turn off the bluetooth connected chiming audio

I am talking about that chiming sound the Nest makes when you connect your phone or pc (through Bluetooth) with it to let you know you're connected to it (while the lights on it indicate it already).

For context, I use my Nest Audio as a speaker for my pc through bluetooth connection. Each time I turn on my pc, it automatically connects to the Nest and each time it makes that high chiming sound. I also use it to play audio from a home system which also has to connect to it first in orde to play an alarm/reminder/audio in general.

So each day I hear nothing but that annoying chiming sound that is always louder than what i'm playing and that for some reason goes up with the audio volume. If i had a loud alarm to wake me up in the morning, the next time that i turn on my pc i get my ears blasted by that chiming sound with the Nest being 30 cm next to me...

Hi @justsomeuser1,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that the chiming sound of your Nest Audio speaker sometimes cannot be the best experience depending on your needs and the needs of all Nest users.
We're always looking for ways to improve since this isn't an existing option, and we appreciate your feedback.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,

Anders

Hi @AndersC

Each time i try to click next on the first page it gives me the following error code:

B.4k3m2io.m792vdqk

Also I had to copy this code through inspecting the element and I still had to search between lines after it. You might want to look into that unless you expect users to type the code character by character. 😅
