Hello, i am desperate already. My child is 13 years old and I wanted to surprise her with a Google Nest Hub but I can't add her account on the device. On her Google Home app she doesn't even have the option to add a new device. My question is: how can I add her account on the device? No, I don't want to share the device with her, I want her account on it and only hers. If it's not possible, at what age can one add a device in the Google Home app, I just can't find an answer and it has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a product. Please, I need quick responses. Thank you in advance

Hi Daria333,
Thanks for posting in the community! I'm sorry to hear that your child's account isn't showing the option to add devices. I'd be happy to help.
The age requirement for accessing and adding devices to a Google account depends on your location. For more information, you can check out this article: Age requirements on Google Accounts. Additionally, I'd like to know if your child's account is managed through Family Link.
In the meantime, as an alternative, you can try upgrading your child's account to get access to more features. However, please note that this might not be possible if your child's age is below the minimum age requirement for a full Google account. For reference, you can see this article: Create a Google Account for your child.
Please keep me posted.
Best regards,
Jenniffer
