I can't connect to my Google Mini :(

I keep trying to connect to my Google Mini and it keeps messing up, like the Bluetooth won’t connect to my sons phone and can’t set it up.

Thank you for reaching out. That is not good to hear that you are unable to connect to your Google Nest Mini. No worries, I would be more than happy to help find a solution so that you can jam out to your favorite music! I would be more than happy to help. First, I have some questions to get a better understanding of this situation.
  • How are you trying to connect to your Google Nest Mini?
    • On the Google Home App over WiFi or only through Bluetooth?
  • Is your Google Nest Mini on the same WiFi network as your son's phone?
    • Please check that your son's phone is switched to WiFi, not on mobile data.
  • Here is a link which explains how to set up Bluetooth.
  • Have you tried to do a reboot and a Factory Data Reset on the Google Nest Mini? Are there any improvements?

Sorry for the late response.

 

Are you referring to downloading the Google Home app on your phone? Can you please tell us the make and model of the phone that you're using as well as its Android or iOS version? Also, are you getting any prompts when you connect your Google Home Mini?

 

Let us know some details so we can try some steps to resolve this. Keep us posted by responding to this thread.
