I can't connect to my device, it says use the same WiFi and I am and it still doesn't work

I've tried unplugging it and connecting to either WiFi networks and it wont connect to the speaker.

Thanks for your message. I am sorry to hear that your device is not connecting to your WiFi. Let's resolve this issue and get your device working smoothly and connected. First, I have some quick questions.

  • Which Google device do you have? (model name, generation number)
  • Is your Google device on the same WiFi network as your other devices?
  • What happens if you try to connect your device to a mobile hot spot? Is it able to connect?
  • Can you please try to do a reboot and Factory Data Reset on your Google Nest Mini? Are there any improvements? 
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. 
    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
