I can’t play podcasts or my Spotify Music Channel.

Hi recently I have had trouble trying to play podcasts or even listen to Spotify music on my nest speaker. 
I am only able to play my local radio channels. Can you help me please.

Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry to hear that you are unable to listen to podcasts, I understand your concern. I would be more than happy to help look into this situation. First, I have some questions.

  • Is this a new issue? Was your device able to play podcasts before?
  • Do you have Spotify logged in and linked in your Google Home app?
  • What voice commands are you using? Are you using the same layout as the examples below?
    • Example: "Listen to Oral History of The Office on Spotify"
      "Play This American Life on Google Podcasts"
  • Is this happening with all podcast channels? Or just one?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
