I can’t reconnect my dot to wifi

Confirm that your Wi-Fi network name and password are correct.
Check your internet connection.
Change the band Alexa is connecting to.
Restart your Alexa-enabled device. 
Move your Alexa device closer to your router.

Hi Jacque1,

 

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let's check it out. A few questions: is this a Nest speaker that you're trying to reconnect to Wi-Fi? Are there changes to it? Was it disconnected and won't reconnect? Let met get those answers so that we would know what to do next. In the meantime, it would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

 

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers. 
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops. 
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.
