I don't think the doorbell battery is the problem like everyone keeps saying

Have the Nest Hub (2nd Gen), and the Nest Doorbell (2nd Gen, Wired).

Nest hub has never received the doorbell video after a doorbell press - regardless of doorbell settings (chime or not, do not disturb deactivated, announcements on etc etc). If I navigate to the doorbell from the nest hub, it only shows a blank screen or hangs on "connecting" - that is, until I navigate to the doorbell feed from either my phone or from a web browser.

The moment I open the doorbell stream from the Google Home App/Web App it connects instantly, but also wakes up the feed to the nest hub, making the nest hub suddenly connect and receive video.

Everyone keeps citing the internal battery of these wired nest doorbells being the problem why the nest hub can't receive video. I call BS - I say the doorbell is doing just fine with every device EXCEPT the nest hub. It's the Hub that's got a problem to be fixed.

So - any fixes?

Hub System firmware: 14.20230831.4.72

(yes it's been reformatted etc)
