I live in California, my Nest Home Max thinks it is in New York.

My Home Max was fine until I switched to a new router from Comcast and now it thinks it is in East Patchogue New York and nothing I do will convince it that it is not. I made it forget the network and then joined the network again, it had the proper time while I was setting it up, but once the setup was complete, it went back to New York time and weather.

My phone and computer, both Apple products, seem to be fine. It's just the Home Max. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have your location settings o your phone set to random? I've had a few Google apps or products do this and show that I am in a different state of than Arkansas which is where I actually am. The only way I have found to correct it was to turn that feature off. If you use a VPN, that can also be the source of the issue. If it's not either of those I'd call Comcast and see if there is a way to change the location settings on your router.
