I need help with wifi wp3-enterprise

So, I'm living at my school's dorms but the wifi we use here requires us to use a PEAP method where we need to lo in using our ID number and password of the school platform. The thing is that I can't connect my google nest because when the google home app asks me to set up my device by writing my Wi-Fi password, it doesn't even give me the option to enter my ID credentials of the school... I need professional tech support for this one 😞

Hi everyone,

Chiming in to see if you are still in need of help with this? If you are trying to set up as Google Nest speakers to your school's Wi-Fi, I'm afraid that you won't be able to completely connect it on that network. Here's some network that is incompatible with Google Nest speakers.

  • Captive portal networks Nest products do not work with captive portal networks which are common in airports, hotels, internet cafes, and coffee shops. On these networks, you must sign in on a web page, and sometimes accept terms and conditions before you can connect.
  • Enterprise networks in businesses such as 802.1x/RADIUS networks are not compatible with Nest products.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Princess
