I set wake up radio on google home hub and now I can't clear it

Every morning, Tune-in turns on my Google nest display, and plays a banner and ad at about 6:55 am.  I don't want to listen to ads when I'm so vulnerable.  I've tried to replace Tune-in with CBC app but it refuses to install on my nest.  I've deleted the routine from my Home app on my android phone, that originated this wake up radio.  I've verbally asked the nest to delete the wake up call but it says there is no such wakeup or alarm setting.  Now each morning I have to manually tell google to stop.  I've restarted the nest twice, once with command from phone and once by removing power cord for several minutes.  Nothing works so far.

Thanks for following up.  Actually, I resolved the issue myself.  The issue was that I was unable to clear a routine that turned on TuneIn as a wake up call.  I wanted to clear it after realizing that TuneIn would play ads during my most vulnerable moment as I was waking up.  But despite all my efforts, it kept coming on in mornings, despite clearing the routine entirely and having Google insist that there was no wake up scheduled. 

Turned out that the grouping I had setup between two google devices retained that wakeup call.  I wanted both my bedside and Kitchen units to play CBC radio each morning as my wake up call. Once I deleted the grouping, the wakeup call was finally gone.   Bizarre programming “feature”.

 As long as TuneIn or similar plays ads while I’m waking up, I will not use such as a wake up routine. I know I’m not immune to such unwanted persuasion especially as I’m just waking up.

 The odd thing is that CBC radio, is publicly funded and has no ads itself.

CBC radio Listen app could replace TuneIn, but my Google Home Nest 2 will not let it install.  Do you know a fix?

With regards to your other concern, what do you mean your Google Nest Hub won't let you install? Is that the CBC app that you're referring to?

Yes, I tried to install the CBC listen app and it would not install.  I was able to view the selection but clicking on that selection did not initiate the download/installation normally expected.
