Hi TenaA11,

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Were you able to link your phone number to the Google Home app? Once linked, caller ID should show up when making calls on Meet/Duo, Google Voice, or Google Fi. To show your phone number:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap your account.
  3. Tap Settings > Communication > Call Providers.
  4. Tap Your own number or Edit > Add or change phone number.
  5. Enter your phone number, then tap Add.
  6. You'll receive a text with a code. Enter the code, then tap Verify.
  7. If you don't receive a code, wait 30 seconds, then tap Send new code.
  8. Your phone number should show up under "Your own number." It can take up to 10 minutes to appear.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Alex

Like to bump this issue. Google Voice is linked. The option to remove it is gone which is strange.

Calling out says Unknown. Also have Google Meet linked. Tried factory reset on the Google Home devices which where stubborn as heck to get setup again so I caution anyone trying to factory reset. <-- Did Fix it asking which to call Phone or Meet though.

"Calls made from speakers and Smart Displays will not show up with a caller ID unless you’re using Duo" Duo is now Meet: https://www.androidauthority.com/removing-google-assistant-features-2024-3401964/

I am confused? So does this mean calls with Google Voice will have no caller ID anymore? Is Meet providing the Caller ID lookups or do they mean with Meet to Meet calls? Does Meet do phone calls?

What the heck? It makes zero sense to lose caller ID with Google Voice
