Incorrect temperature sleep sensing

abugintheground

The temperature recorded on my nest hub sleep sensing is wildly inaccurate (37°C, should be more like 23-25 at it's hottest.. I'm only in the UK!).

- is there an internal thermometer that needs recalibrating or is faulty?

Or

- is this picked up from weather data?

Any ideas?

Yes, however no difference.

Hi

I have the same issue, I'm bumping this thread so I can get a notification if there is an update.

My Nest Hub 2 is the same, every night it shows 37° C. If it only happening with some hubs I would assume there is a problem with the sensor.

I've been having the same problems as others here for a while (maybe 2-3 months plus). Both light and temperature sensors display incorrect information in the sleep quality section. Showing 40C overnight in a room that is 22C, showing Bright in a room that is fairly dark. The weather report functions are fine, it's the internal ambient light and temp sensors for sleep functions that are displaying wrong.

I’m having the same problem. The sleep sense never reads below 97F even though it is has never been warmer than 75F.

Any updates regarding this, it's-2 °C out here according to the weather app reported by nest hub. But shows 31° C in my sleep record.

I just bought it yesterday and made sure it is updated to the latest software. Help please

The light and the temperature readings seem to be correct for me now. It would have been nice if you had kept us informed that you were aware of the problem and were working on it though.

@Juni looks like mine is working now too, great news!

Out of interest, are you able to give any info on what the fix was?
