Individual Nests using one phone

AdamL5

Hi!

All family members in our home have one Google Nest each. All family members also have their own Spotify account and Google account. My problem is that the family only has one phone to share.

Is it possible to connect a certain Google and Spotify account to a certain Nest device?

For example: The Google Nest that is located in person X´s room. Can it always be logged on to person X using person X´s Spotify account? Same goes for person Y on the Google Nest in person Y´s room. Both set ups from person A´s phone.

Hi AdamL5,

Your family must love music that much, thanks for posting. Since you mentioned that you are using one phone, what you can do is set their Google Nest speaker as normal using their account. First, you need to add your family member in the Google Home app. Once they are added, have them set up their Google Nest speaker under their account. Check the steps below on how to add another account in the Google Home app.

Add an account in the Google Home app.

  1. Open Google Home app
  2. Tap account icon at the top right
  3. Tap drop down beside email
  4. Add another account.

Let me know how it goes.

Juni
