Unable to switch on Google home mini device

Sync google/nest/phone/Canary issues

When I try to sync devices, it keeps saying my phone is not set up. It is and all else except for my Canary security system seems not to be linked to Google. I've rebooted all devices including my Google nest display to no avail. Any help out there?
