Is it okay to use a blanket when my nest hub is on sleep sensing?

When I tried to calibrate it, it didnt detect my body. But without the blanket, it did. Does this mean I shouldn’t use a blanket so google can track my sleep?

Hi @YourLittleMeep

It should work with a blanket as well. 😊
You can find HERE how it works and what it does.

Hi folks,

@RXShorty, thanks for the help.

@YourLittleMeep, have you checked the link provided? Blankets should work however, there are also factors that might affect the calibration and the sleep sensing feature. How thick is your blanket? The angle in which your Nest Hub is facing you? These are factors that might affect it. It would help a lot if you could do the calibration with a blanket but move your body closer to your Nest Hub 2nd Gen and see the difference.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan
