Same network, have reset the muiltiple times, have restarted the router.

connected to the same home and same room, they work indivudualy before pairing.

after succesvully pairing.
me: "hey google, play xmusix on <name of speaker pair>"
nest audio 1: i cant connect to the other speaker, check that it's connected to the network and has power
nest audio 2: *starts playiong xmusicx*
....
seriously?

the speaker i use to start the pairtring process is renamed to the new speaker apir and the other speaker is still left as a lonely speaker.

have resaterted everthing in my home including the microwave and unpluged everythin for xx seconds, so no bot solution answeres please.

I have a similar problem, after pairing the stereo one speaker changes the name and the media are played on only one speaker. Before pairing, each branch is correctly. Both Nest are in the same network, in the same room (also in Google Home)

Seems like Google doesn give a **bleep** about their costumers since the problem seem to be wide spreed and not adressed.

Hi folks,

Thanks for bringing this out.

We're sorry to hear about this experience when using your Google Nest Audio devices. Could someone tell me if you have tried performing a complete reset to their Google Nest Audio speakers? Does it make any changes? Let's make sure that all these steps are done: https://goo.gle/3nxI6cp

Lastly, kindly provide the cast firmware version of your Google Nest Audio so we can check on it further.

Looking forward to your responses.

Best,

Princess

Followed those steps to the letter.

Reset both the devices multiple times (4 times iirc), when used as separete sepakers in a group they work fine, it's jsut the pairing that doesnt work.

Speaker A Firmware:
Sytem: 348702
Cast: 1.56.348702

Speaker B Firmware:
System: 348702
Cast: 1.56.348702

On a side not the "unpairing" doesnt work neither, when you click "Separate" it just does nothing, the software isnt even giveing an indication you did anything so I've had to performa complete reset of the speakereverytime I want to make a new attempt at pairing them.

Hey strandberg85,

Thanks for the information. Since all troubleshooting steps have been exhausted, please fill out this form with all the needed information so we can further check what's going on with your devices.

@notojacek: To confirm, are you able to cast a music to a paired speakers? How about when in a speaker group? How far are the devices from the router? Also, what is the firmware version of your Google Home Max?

Cheers,

Muddi

I have literally the same issue with two Google home max speakers. Tried to factory reset like 7 times and nothing works. Any fixes to this or are those super expensive speakers just electronic trash now?

I managed to get it working........ With a different phone, the pairing worked on first try. No idea why it didn't work on the first phone (same app version, same system version)
