Issues when resetting google nest audio

Jessicaallende2

I changed my wifi routers with newer ones and I could’ve change the network on app so I reset the soaker by muting the speaker and pressing middle for 5 seconds. Once resetting it’s supposed to say Welcome to google, download app etc. but that never happened all it does is turn on lights back and forth offf and on. That’s it’s. I already tried plugging and unplugging the 10 times and nothing. Please help.

Yes that’s what I did but it never fully reset. After I did those steps all it does now is turn the white lights back and forth for about 10 seconds and off for about a min and that’s it

Hey folks,

@RachelGomez123, thanks for the help.

@Jessicaallende2, I really appreciate you doing those steps before posting. Quick question: since you already tried the reset, is this how you’re doing it on your Nest Audio? Click here. Also, what are the LED lights shown on your device? Are you able to change the volume via touch?

Do the reset one more time to revert it back to its default and original settings and tell me how it goes.

Thanks,

Dan

White lights run back and forthand i googled to see what it means and it says that it does that when it’s connecting to wifi. I have left the speaker and it will do that. Nothing else. The volumn does not work and I tried resetting and it does nothing

Any news on the issue?

Lets assume that the device is stuck,didnt/couldnt/wouldnt perform a full reset and its looking for the wifi,as the light pattern indicates,not being able to connect/reconnect anywhere..

Isnt there supposed to be a way to perform a factory reset on it ??

Cause from what i found out the past couple of days searching online about the problem is that there are a lot of people,way to many actually,owning a bricked Google Nest Audio having the exact same issue,somwhere in a closet in their house,just waiting for a miracle..

Nomatter how many questions and forms filled the answer to the bricked devices is nowhere to be found.

Thank you #Not
