It will stop and repeat the same word over & over then freeze, not respond, shut off.

I have plugged it into another wall socket. {it was already plugged into a wall socket} it is well ventilated and I have performed the factory reset, etc. My device shuts off in the middle of playing. It gets stuck on a word, repeatedly says it, THEN it will FREEZE or Shut down. {it goes to the black screen with a white G or it’ll simply Not respond at all.  This has happened about 8 times now within the last month. I am concerned because Last year this happened and it never came back on. I was sent a new one, after a while of waiting, so I’d love to get this resolved without the long wait. Thank you! 🙏🏾💜🙏🏾

Thank you for reaching out. Oh no! I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing issues with your device. I understand how frustrating this issue is, and I would be more than happy to help. First, I have some questions to get a better understanding of this situation.
  • Which Google device is this post in regard to? (model name, generation number)
  • Have you been sent a new device from Google Support?
  • Is this your new device that is having issues?
  • Can you try to reboot and Factory Data Reset your device? Is there any improvement?
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
