LG CX - Google Home issue

Hey Guys - so my CX shows up in my google home wifi device list yet I can't seem to add it as a device in the google home app - I get to the setup point where it asks what type of device it is (I select display) and it just goes back to the same screen. I d/l the LG Think IQ app and it ONLY finds my LG B8 thats in another room. Any ideas? It's almost like the TV has been hidden or something

Hey there biggs87, 

I'm sorry to hear about the issues that you're having with your device and the Google Home app, I'm sure it's confusing, but I'm happy to help. 

Have you tried doing a factory reset on the device? That is the only thing we can think of at this time since we are not experts on LG products. 

 

I would suggest reaching out to LG support as well.
