Hello all.

I by a Google Nest Hub 2 but don't have Portuguese language.

I don't understand if this device is selling in Portugal, why don't have Portuguese language.

In EU all the products it is mandatory to contain the language for the destination country.

For when the language update to Portuguese from Portugal?

  • Google does not sell its Nest Hub in Portugal. You may have purchased it through some third party reseller not related to Google in anyway.

But in Portugal you can found the Nest Hub in all kind of electronic stores, like MediaMarket and Worten.

Tell me one related Google store in Portugal?

Best regards.

if you try to go to the google store from Portugal:

https://store.google.com/?hl=pt-PT

It will only show 2 products, chromecast for 39€ and a google wifi extender for 99€.

Google itself doesn't sell the devices officially, it has third parties doing it - even if in an authorized capacity - so it uses that as an excuse to not care for customers here.

I just find it extremely frustrating the portuguese - from portugal -  language assistant already exists for phones, and there is no effort to migrate that assistant to the google home app or to the assistants. I have 6 home nests and speak to them in english or brazilian portuguese.

Would be great to have it in my main languages, but I'm not keeping my hopes high.
