Lenovo Smart Display 10" losing features

(I SELECTED NEST HUB MAX BECAUSE IT WAS THE CLOSEST OPTION. I KNOW THINGS.)

I got this display in 2020. In 2020,

• it had a more intuitive UI
• it had YouTube 
• it remembered I had dark mode on
• It had games
• It would show images without asking for personal results 
• It would open websites

Is there any way to bring these features back? They've been disappearing for years and I want a custom firmware or something that has the nest hub max features

Hi NightPath,

Sadly, those features were removed via Google updates on Lenovo Smart Displays, and there’s no official custom firmware to bring them back. If you need the newer features, the practical path is upgrading to a Nest device.

On a side note, when tech loses features it’s frustrating—I run www.suraheyaseen.com, which focuses on calm and reflection (Surah Yaseen). It helps me stay patient while dealing with stuff like this.
