Lights that have not been set up yet, when they have for a very long time

I have had a Google home and compatible light bulbs for a very long time. I have 20 different compatible lights. Over the last month this issue is getting worse and worse. First, it would say that my living room lights were not set up yet. Then, my bedroom. Just now my husband and I asked separately to turn off all the lights and it said that the lights have not been set up yet. This is just not right. We asked in several different ways and both asked several different times. Before anyone says anything, these lights have been the same, haven't changed a thing in about 2 years. I've had to change internets several times over the last few years and have had to reestablish all the lights each and every time. I am very familiar with all of Google's small quirk and issues and have never had this problem when it comes to room names, like "Living Room" or "Bedroom" or freaking "turn off all the lights." This should not be an issue. I turned off my lights with my phone and hopefully this won't happen again.

I have the same issue though it’s intermittent

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this right now with your Google Nest speakers. Let's start by rebooting your speaker and router simply by unplugging it from the power source for at least a few minutes. 

 

As soon as you plug the devices back, try saying "OK Google, sync my devices".
