Making group of speakers

Maegannz
Community Member

I'm having trouble connecting Google nest hub (2nd gen) with nest mini ( 2nd gen)

So far I have restored factory settings and re set up both devices and Google home.

I can talk to nest mini to play music on the nest hub.

I would like to make it a group of speakers that play together. I can't make this work

Any suggestions.

Hi Maegannz,

Thanks for reaching out.

Here's the steps on how to create a speaker group:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Chromecast, or speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app .
  3. At the top left, tap Add and then Create speaker group.
  4. Tap each device you want to add to the group. A check Check will appear next to each device you select.
  5. Tap Next enter a name for your group Save.

To control your speaker groups, make sure to follow these:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Chromecast, or speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Tap Media to view all of your speakers and displays and adjust each device's volume.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Princess
