Mini speaker chime when turning off lights doesn't stop

Hi, we have Minis in our bedrooms to turn lamps on and off. Last night I woke up and my daughter's one was making the turn off the lights chime over and over again in about 20 second intervals. We unplugged it and went back to sleep but is there something wrong with it?  Our bedroom's one hasnt done this before.

We wanted to check, is this the first time you noticed this behavior? Did you plug back your Google Home Mini now and heard it chime again?

Hello 🙂  Nope not the first time, we unplug it and plug it back in, it stops...until the next time.  My daughter turns her lights off with it every night, but it only does it sometimes.

This is odd. Let’s try to troubleshoot the Google Home Mini device.
 

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Look for this Google Home Mini device > Tap on it.
3. Press the Settings button at the top right > Remove device > Remove.
4. From the Devices button, scroll down to the bottom, under Other cast/Local devices.
5. Tap the Google Home Mini device > Add to a room. Follow the prompts in adding it back to a room.
    

Monitor its behavior. If the issue persists, proceed with a factory reset.
