Morning routine not triggered by alarm clock on Nest Hub 2 when the alarm is previosly snoozed.

I have this issue.

If I snooze the alarm clock then the morning routine isn't triggered (even if I stop the alarm then).

Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Nest Hub. Let's go ahead and sort this thing out by answering these questions.

  • Are you using a custom-made routine aside from your regular alarm?
  • Also, when snoozing alarm is it via voice command? Is your morning routine same with the alarm you set?

Let us know more details so we can check what would be the next steps that we can try to resolve this.

Hi Princess, 

as far as i know, on the Nest Hub 2,  stopping an alarm clock can triggen only the "good morning" routine.

So I customize my "Good morning" routine (via the google home app, on the cell phone).

Basically my "Good Morning routine" is the weather forecast followed by the news enunciation.

But if i snooze the alarm, then when i stop the alarm the routine isn't triggered.

If i wait until the alarm rings the second time (after 5min) and then stop it, the routine is triggered.

I don't use voice command, I press the buttons on the touchscreen of the Nest Hub 2.

He asked several questions, which you didnt answer.

Then after two months no reslonse, you closed it.

This is why the only way to have usable AI in home, requires different hardware and software that is not google.

Hi ice-d,

I wanted to follow up and see if you still need help. Is your morning routine also not triggering when snoozing your alarm? If so, it would help a lot when you refresh the connection between devices by doing a sequential reboot. Unplug the re-plug the power cord of our router followed by your Nest Hub 2nd Gen. Restarting your phone might also help. Also, kindly check out this guide to have more information and troubleshooting steps about routines.
