Multiple homes in Nest Hub responding to the same request

I have more than one home in living room, each with Google Assistant and Home set up: they all appear in my Home app on the main dropdown as expected. However, when I say "Hey Google, please play some music" they ALL answer and begin playing different music.

Same issue here, timers are particularly annoying, along with IFTTT requests. Was running fine for years until yesterday.

Same, Google probably pushed a bad update.

Same here, all speakers responding and executing at the same time.

Mine started doing that 2 weeks ago, and a fix on another form page to reset your devices. I reset a few but it didn't seem to work for me.

I sent feedback using the"ok Google, send feedback" function and within 24 hours, it was fixed. I don't know if it was a coincidence or if Google pushed out an updates, but I'll take it!

I have also the same issue . Even worst I have 4 homes setup and from any of my google hubs I ask "Hey google can you turn the lights off" It turns the lights in all the homes . That seems to me like massive security breach . My understanding was that grouping the homes in to a different "homes" will segregate them .

Hey all,

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help? Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Best regards,
Jake

It was definitely a bad update.. It later resolved with another update.

As far as that last comment about the lights all turning off when the hub misunderstands me and thinks I said turn off all the lights.. that really sucks if you have 100s of smart lights and switches all auto programmed to turn on and off at different times...

Hey NerdShowAndTell,

Sorry for the late reply once again. I am glad to hear you are no longer running into the issue after the update. As for the lights, I did find a helpful article on smart lights that could provide more details. Please let me if that helps, or if you have any questions from here.

Best regards,

Jake
