I have several speakers throughout the house and I frequently have music playing throughout. After a few hours, the music just shuts off. Is there a timer to change that or ?

I have had the same issue, even though the YouTube Music playlist I asked my Mini to play was much longer than two hours, it still stopped whenever it felt like it.
Are you asking your Mini to play a playlist, podcast, or just to stream a particular artist? And which streaming service are you using (Spotify, YT Music, other)?

I'm using Pandora. There must be a setting somewhere to change shut off time or ' don't shut off' continuous play.

Hi safetyctre,
This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?
It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:
Once done, try other music services and see if the behavior persists. See this guide on how to choose and add a music service.
Keep me posted.
Thanks for helping, Sarcastic_Rick.

Dan

Thanks for the follow up. I appreciate it. Both the Samsung TV and the Hoogle speakers will shut down after about 3+ or - hrs if no ' activity'.
I am not a tech type person but I don't see where the common cause might be.
Any input appreciated. We often like to just leave the TV ( news or ?) on for while home all day or the have the house full of music ( 6 speakers in sync) for several hours.

Hi safetyctre,
Apologies for the delayed response. Are they on a speaker group?
About your Samsung TV, I suggest you check its settings if there are timers involved or better yet, contact the manufacturer for more troubleshooting steps.
With your Nest speakers, you can try to factory reset one of them and test it out. Depending on the Nest speaker that you have, see this guide on how to revert your device back to its original settings by doing the factory reset. Redo the setup once done.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Dan
