My Google Home Mini suddenly started saying "Sorry, I don't understand." when I ask for sunrise time

I have been successfully asking my Google Home Mini (gen. 1) for the sunrise or sunset time for nearly a year. This morning it suddenly started saying, "Sorry, I don't understand." when I ask. However, the Google Assistant app on my iPhone has no problem answering when I speak this question to it. So far, I have found nothing else that the Mini fails to do. I did a factory reset on the Mini but it still fails to answer my request. The device's cast firmware version is 1.54.250118. To my knowledge there have been no changes to my network or WiFi setup. I live alone so nobody else has made any changes.
