My Google Nest Speaker ignores my commands when music is playing

My Google Nest Speaker ignores all of my commands when playing music.
 
It works perfectly triggering the "Okay Google" command, but every single command I give to it is not understood, even tho it stops hearing as soon as I stop speaking the command, just like it heard perfectly. I have tried to speak louder, slower, pausing on syllables, lowering the volume, but it just won't get any command. The Assistant history just says that the command was not understood. It can be a good morning command, multimedia controls like stop or raise the volume nothing at all works, in both English and Portuguese. The only times that it hears me is when I get really frustrated and say mean things to it. It responds me just fine.
 
Even though I have some connection issues with my network and kinda often music stops playing suddenly and just return if I skip 1 second of it, I really don't think it is an internet issue at all, because it hears all of my commands when the music is paused or no media is playing back.

Thanks for your message. I am sorry to hear that your Google Assistant is not hearing your commands when you are playing music. I would be more than happy to find a solution. First, I have some quick troubleshooting steps that I would like you to try.

  • Have you tried restarting your device?
  • If that does not work, could you try to Factory Data Reset your device?
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings.
      Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
