My Google nest audio not working.

for no reason at one has stopped working completely.

I have unplugged it etc however there is no response, no lights coming , nothing.

Note* i read other solution but not working

  1. Plug your Nest Audio into a different wall outlet.
Note: Make sure they are not connected to a surge protector to rule out all other hardware.
  2. Discharge the speaker:
    1. Unplug the power adapter from the outlet and the speaker.
    2. Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.
    3. Plug the power adapter into the speaker or display.
    4. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that works.
    5. Check if any LED lights would appear on the back of the speaker.
  3. Please try the power adapter from the one that currently works to isolate the issue.

Just hoping someone has tips on what to do.

Hello JClarios,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

I know how challenging it is to not have a working device when needed. Since you've exhausted all the troubleshooting steps, the next best thing to do is to replace your device. Could you tell us when and where you purchased it?

Cheers,

Muddi

I have the same issue.

The Nest Audio was trying to update today but never finished updating. Left it alone for a good 30 mins and then tried unplugging it and then back again. Even did it ten times.

Now. No lights. No nothing.

Hello ollewolfgang,

Thanks for bringing this up.

If there are no indications that the Google Nest Audio is not turning on, did you try plugging it in to a different power source? Also, do you have a spare cable that you could use to check if the issue is within the device itself or the power cord?

Let us know once you have tried these steps so we can check your warranty options.

Best,

Princess

Hi! Thanks for replying!

Tried another outlet. Also changed power chord with another one of my speakers (I have seven).

Unfortunately it is completely ”dead”. It happened in the middle of an update.
