My Nest Hub displayy will not factory reset

Today my Google Nest Hub stopped working. I tried unplugging/replugging and it comes up to the grey "G" logo screen,  and then plays the tones, then shows four colored dots, then goes to the rainbow colored "G" logo screen. It sits there for 1 minute then the Hub goes completely blank. I have tried the factory reset (holding volume up and down buttons at same time) but the device will not reset. Any suggestions?
