My Spotify connects to all my other Google devices perfectly, but refuses to connect to Nest Audio

I just got the Nest Audio and connected and set it up and it won’t connect to Spotify, even tho all my other devices work with Spotify perfectly fine.

Thanks for reaching out! I love using Spotify with my Nest Audio so I understand your concern! I would be more than happy to help find a solution with you. First, I have some questions.
  • Which other devices work fine with your Spotify? Could you please tell me the model names and generation numbers?
  • Is your Nest Audio powering on and working normally besides this issue?
  • Does this issue occur when you use a voice command or when your cast from your phone? Does it happen during both scenarios?
  • Is it only Spotify that does not work with the Nest Audio? What about other types of media? (YouTube, Pandora, Radio, etc.)
  • Have you tried to reboot and Factory Data Reset the Nest Audio? 
    A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
