My google home is not set up yet error after completing a full set up

We recently installed wifi extension, and ever since , our google home stopped working, just says : your google home is not setup yet. 

So we set it up, and after the whole set up process ( factory reset, software update etc) it’s still not working and says : your google home is not setup yet.

can you please help?

If you remove your Wifi extender, does setup complete normally?

@Vans1982, could you please share a photo of what you're getting? Is this the only Google Nest speakers set up on your Wi-Fi network? We'd love to know more about it so we can check what steps we can try.
